New Dancehall single by Sgt. Remo coming soon!

Greetings!

In the next few weeks you will see the release of Sgt. Remo's new back-to-the-dancehall tune "Dawtah". "The single "Dawtah" is a Dancehall Reggae song that is sure to blaze up dance floors all over this summer" (www.sgtremo.com, 2011). Sgt. Remo's smooth vocals make this an easy-to-listen song that could easily play in a dancehall session in Jamaica or a top-40 radio station in the U.S. This style of reggae brings you back to the classic dancehall of the early 90's that popularized the genre across the world.

"Dawtah" was recorded in St. Petersburg, FL in December, 2011 and is currently in post-production. This is the first collaboration between Sgt. Remo and Cuban produced P. Hernandez. Hernandez is based out of Saint Petersburg, Florida and has been producing dancehall riddims for several years. Although this riddim is a strictly dancehall riddim, you can hear a hint of a hispanic caribbean flavor that makes this song an easy crossover over several genres. "Dawtah" will be released under the Jah Yutes Entertainment label early 2012 and will be available at all major digital music distributors (itunes, Amazon MP3, CD Baby, etc).

Sgt. Remo's currently promoting his recently released hit song "How Long" as featured in the "Reggae SoulJahs Worldwide Vol. 1" compilation and the "Brighter Smile Riddim EP".
