FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Remo Fest 2026 Returns to Hill Country Caribbean Vybez — Texas’ Premier Grassroots Reggae Festival
San Antonio, TX — Remo Fest, Texas’ signature grassroots reggae celebration, returns to Hill Country Caribbean Vybez for its 2026 edition. The annual event brings together an eclectic mix of international and regional artists for a full day of live music, Caribbean cuisine, and positive community vibes.
The festival honors the legacy of Jamaican reggae music and carries a strong sense of purpose to uplift the regional Texas reggae scene and its artists. Each year, Remo Fest creates a space where culture, unity, and creativity come together in a truly authentic celebration of roots reggae music.
Festival founder and artist Sgt. Remo says, “Remo Fest is a small reggae festival bringing together many of the regional Texas reggae artists as well as international reggae talent. It’s more like a gathering of reggae music friends than a big music festival. Last year was just a good vibe, you know. The vibe was just right. I wish I could capture that feeling in a bottle and save it (laughs heartlily). We’re looking forward to Remo Fest ’26. It’s gonna be a good one!”
The 2026 lineup will feature top reggae performers from vibrant Texas reggae scene as well as international talent. Caribbean food, craft artisans, and outdoor games will round out the day’s festivities.
Remo Fest 2026 takes place at Hill Country Caribbean Vybez, just outside San Antonio. Full lineup and ticket information will be announced soon at www.sgtremo.com.
San Antonio, TX — March 25, 2026 — The Texas reggae movement takes center stage this week with the official online release of Texas Rockers, a short film that captures the spirit, struggle, and sound of reggae culture across the Lone Star State. The film premieres Wednesday on the SgtRemoTV YouTube channel, offering audiences worldwide an inside look at a growing musical movement often overlooked in mainstream media.
Texas Rockers is a culturally-driven short film featuring real-life reggae artists, musicians, DJs, and venues from across Texas. Rather than telling a fictional story, the film immerses viewers in the authentic experiences of the people building the scene—highlighting the passion, perseverance, and community behind the music.
From late-night studio sessions to live performances and behind-the-scenes moments, Texas Rockers showcases the raw energy and dedication it takes to sustain reggae culture in Texas. The film serves not only as entertainment, but as a statement piece—positioning Texas as a serious and emerging force in the global reggae landscape.
“This film is about giving the culture a voice,” says creator Sgt. Remo. “It’s about documenting what’s really happening on the ground in Texas reggae and showing the world that this movement is alive, growing, and here to stay.”
The online premiere marks the next phase of the Texas Rockers rollout, following its initial screening and early festival submissions. By releasing the film digitally, the team aims to expand its reach and connect directly with fans, media outlets, and cultural tastemakers.
Media outlets, bloggers, and content creators are encouraged to cover the release, request interviews, and explore collaboration opportunities. Texas Rockers is more than a film—it’s an entry point into a larger cultural movement rooted in music, identity, and independent artistry.
